Each participant will take home their own happy little spider plant.

In honor of January being National Houseplant Month, plan to attend this houseplant basics class. This introduction to keeping your houseplants happy will include information about common houseplant types and their benefits. Match your plants to your environment and lifestyle. The class will cover basic tools and supplies such as pots, watering needs, different types of houseplant soils, and other essentials. You will be able to understand light requirements, how to water wisely, and choosing the right soil mix for your plant. Repotting basics will help you to understand root rot, pruning, and promoting healthy growth.

As part of the class, each participant will have hands-on experience repotting their very own spider plant to take home. These plants have been growning in our very own greenhouse and are waiting just for you to give them a new home.
