Marbin w/ special guests Alien Street

MARBIN is a progressive jazz-rock band based in Chicago, IL, with a unique story that stands out in today’s music world. With a do-it-yourself approach, Marbin started touring extensively in 2011, bringing their original instrumental music to every part of the United States. Through word of mouth, Marbin has gained hundreds of thousands of devoted fans all over the world and has sold tens of thousands of albums. Marbin has released eight albums: Marbin (2009), Breaking the Cycle (2011), Last Chapter of Dreaming (2013), The Third Set (2014),  Aggressive Hippies (2015), Goatman and the House of the Dead (2016), Israeli Jazz (2018), and Strong Thing (2019), the double album Russian Dolls + Ten Years in the Sun (2020), Shreddin’ at Sweetwater (2021), and Dirty Horse (2022). Marbin regularly plays in clubs all over the US and in jam and jazz festivals around the world.

Alien Street is a jazz fusion group that first took shape in San Marcos, Texas. Their sound blends Texas country grit, psychedelic rock textures, and hard bop jazz into a style that is both exploratory and grounded. Built around improvisation, groove, and dynamic interplay, Alien Street moves between tight compositions and open, spontaneous moments on stage.  The band features:  Aiden Potter – guitar, Logan Potter – bass, Zack Carreon – drums. Alien Street delivers music that rewards close listening while still hitting with raw energy, making them equally at home in intimate rooms and live-forward venues.

Tickets for this show will be $12 online in advance and $15 the day of the show at the door.
