Event Details

A two-part workshop to explore watercolor paint, led by teaching artist Ginger Boller.

Abstraction uses visual language, like line, color, and shape, to express thoughts and feelings about life. Have you ever wondered how artists create abstract pieces? Even abstract art comes from a word, experience, or inspiration. We often think of watercolor as making beautiful landscapes or floral paintings. Experience watercolor in a fun new way in this two-part workshop!

This beginner level workshop will focus on:
-Watercolor techniques such as wet on wet, wet on dry, blending, and layering-Composition (the arrangement of elements on the paper)
-Color theory

Supplies are included. Free and open to the public.
