The newest WFMA exhibition “Supporting Indigenous Sisters: An International Print Exchange” opens Saturday, April 8th, 2023.
Activating conversations about missing and murdered Indigenous women, 16 artists of diverse heritage draw on their individual and collective experience as women, exposing this present-day dark reality as a catalyst for advocacy and change. “Supporting Indigenous Sisters: An International Print Exchange” was curated by Melanie Yazzie, Head of Printmaking at University of Colorado Boulder and Catherine Prose, Professor of Printmaking at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. This print portfolio is a part of the WFMA collection and is also included in the Special Collections at University of Colorado.
