The leaders and members of First Presbyterian Church welcome you and invite you to join our fellowship. The leadership is comprised of three groups of people – Staff, Elders, and Deacons. They serve the Lord, support each other and embrace the unique and authoritative Word of God.
In 2017, the church celebrated 135 years of God’s work in and through our church ministries. Their first church was founded in October 1882 in downtown Wichita Falls and coincided with the founding of the city. The new sanctuary and church complex was built at 3601 Taft Blvd., Wichita Falls, across from Midwestern State University in the early 60s.
First Presbyterian Church of Wichita Falls joined ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians in 2015. The mission of ECO is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ. They dreamed of reclaiming a sense of community, reformed heritage and to find ways for their members to connect, grow, and multiply.
