The final phase and the cornerstone of the events complex, the Kay Yeager Coliseum, was completed in January 2003. The versatility of the coliseum provides a facility for a variety of events. With multiple stage arrangements, lectures, small concerts, or theater-in-the-round can be held. Utilizing an end-stage arrangement, 10,000 people can be seated for concerts, lectures, or conventions. The Coliseum offers an NBA-quality basketball floor, indoor soccer, and football turf, ice for hockey, and dirt for rodeos. There are locker rooms, training rooms, state-of-the-art digital scoreboard, and suites available. The Kay Yeager Coliseum is home to the Wichita Falls Warriors Hockey team.

Arena Floor:

The arena features a 120' x 250' floor

Permanent Seating:

There is permanent seating for 6,500 people and can accommodate an additional 3,500 with temporary seating.

Handicap Accessibility:

Easy access to all levels of the coliseum and handicap sections available.

Overhead Doors:

Large overhead doors at each end of the long axis to provide ingress and egress for a host of events

Location – MPEC is located within a 5-minute walk of downtown restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, wineries, brewery, and a host of shopping & art galleries.
Full-service on-site catering is available.
Free Parking – Exhibit Hall and Coliseum have 1100 parking spaces and the connecting Agricultural Center has 900 spaces.
Recreational Vehicle Hook-Ups – MPEC can accommodate and service up to 1000 rigs on site. This makes MPEC an ideal location for RV rallies and vendor trade shows.
Beautiful Setting – The site for MPEC was selected specifically for the close proximity to the cities natural attributes. Much care was taken to preserve the mature trees and add to the existing landscaping.
Affordable – With the addition of the MPEC Wichita Falls has experienced tremendous growth in the hotel industry. Many existing hotels have renovated and several new hotels have made their home in Wichita Falls. A wide selection of affordable rooms awaits your convention or meeting group.
