Kickapoo Downtown Airport is a city-owned public use airport located three nautical miles south of the central business district of Wichita Falls. They service local and transit general aviation aircraft and features a state-of-the-art Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) which provides immediate, real-time weather data to pilots and the public through a specified radio frequency.
