From her early days as a gospel singer to her legendary status as a Texas Diva, Maylee Thomas transcends genre, mixing gospel-based blues with soul-rock, touches of pop, and the very faintest caress of country from time to time… and audiences respond. Opening for many national acts including Ted Nugent, Jefferson Starship, Bonnie Raitt, Hank Williams Jr., Train, Peter Frampton, Jimmy Vaughn, The Guess Who, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, .38 Special, Joe Bonamassa, and Sonny Landreth. Maylee has amassed a large and fervent following and become a frequent guest on popular television shows Good Morning Texas and Good Day Dallas while receiving strong support from several north Texas P-1 radio stations.  Maylee has released seven albums on Love Life Records, an indie label. Her debut CD, Rhythm of the Blues, was recorded with sax legend Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s famed E Street Band. The album also featured an array of other industry legends including bassist Chuck Rainey, drummer Jamie Oldaker, B-3 guru Mike Finnigan, and guitarists Dave Grissom and Andy Timmons. Maylee’s follow up release Passion, was a collaborative effort with Timmons. Mutually inspired, these artists combined their unique talent and tremendous energy to create an exciting original compilation of soulful pop influenced rock. Revered for her passionate and captivating live performances, maylee answered her fans request with Live at the Palace. Recorded at the landmark venue The Palace the final night of its’ opened doors, the album captures maylee and her band in peak performance on hot Texas night.  “Love Life” is more than a motto. Maylee has brought meaningful action to these words as co-founder of the Love Life Foundation, a charity benefiting abused and at-risk children. In celebration of the foundation’s 10th anniversary, Maylee recorded and dedicated Angels Watching Over Me. The magic and beauty of this album, which devotes all proceeds to charity, lies in its simplicity and tenderness.
