Join us for an engaging evening with Jason R. Cooper, Grounds Superintendent at Midwestern State University, as he shares real-world experiences incorporating native Texas plants into landscapes traditionally dominated by more conventional plantings. A Wichita Falls native with more than 25 years in grounds maintenance, Jason brings deep knowledge and practical insight into sustainable landscaping, native plants, horticulture, ecology, and design. Guests will explore the benefits and challenges of working with native species, learn how these plants can transform outdoor spaces, and gain inspiration for creating landscapes that are both beautiful and better suited to Texas environments.
