Thursday Nature Program: Sensational Snakes!

Slither into River Bend Nature Center for an afternoon all about SNAKES! Get an up-close look at live snakes while discovering the incredible adaptations that help these fascinating reptiles survive in the wild.

Learn how snakes see, smell, move, hunt, and sense the world around them. Explore some of the snakes that call Texas home, discover why snakes are an important part of our ecosystem, and put your snake knowledge to the test with hands-on activities. Then, create a slithery snake craft to take home!

Come and go anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. All ages are welcome!

Thursday Nature Programs are included with regular admission and are FREE for River Bend members.
