Looking for Some Mountain Bike Fun! Bring the family, friends, mountain bikes, and safety gear to try the Wee-Chi-Tah Trail. This is an approximately 13-mile singletrack with many man-made obstacles, short, punchy climbs, and switchbacks. The trail was voted one the best urban off-road trail in the State of Texas. Trailheads can be accessed at 502 Wichita St or at the Texas Tourist Center on Central Frwy. It is one large loop. They tie ribbons on trees to keep on your right. The Camp Fillers section on Wednesday runs backwards. The camp is the only gated section. Throughout the trail, you’ll find many man-made bridges. One of the bridges lets you ride up about 10 feet through the tree tops. Not to worry there’s a bypass. This trail is home to the Hotter N Hell 100 triple threat and mountain bike race with more races in the works.
