“I’ve worked primarily in collage and mixed media for most of my career. I recently began translating these processes to digital media, using found images, my own photography, and digital paint brushes.
My goal is to combine the best aspects of my traditional paper-and-paint media and the added flexibility of digital media…My subject matter often relates to both contemporary and historical social issues. It’s your time to be an artist for a night!
Join them for Valen-Wines Palette Night hosted by Tiffany with The Everyday Monet.
Painting guests will start the evening off with a complementary glass of wine and small finger food that will be provided before and during the painting class.
Two different options are available, single canvas and double canvas (couples).
Guests will be taught how to paint their portrait. The painting class covers the general idea on how to create your version of the image. All canvases will vary due to skill level and creative mind.

Join Selena Mize at the Forum on January 28 for the opening of “Ambiguity.”

Selena Mize is a figurative artist and muralist based in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her work embodies a twist on the human figure, specifically portraiture, and how it intertwines with particular line work, color palettes, shapes, and use of space to create playful and vivid imagery. With these elements, she is able to capture the subject’s true essence, and give personality and life to the overall composition.

She has been involved in several mural projects with non profit organization, Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, since 2019. One of Mize’s murals includes a large-scale public art commission partnered with the City of Vernon through the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture of the “Caruso of Rock”, Roy Orbison.

She has been a part of the Alliance’s Teaching Artist Program, and is now enrolled in their Artist Development Program since 2021. Selena has also been commissioned by several local businesses in Wichita Falls, Texas and has started to expand into the metroplex area.

Learn how to make an ombre glitter epoxy tumbler using a mixture of fine & chunky glitters!

All supplies are included EXCEPT the cup. You will need to bring a 20-24 oz. silver stainless steel, double insulated/walled tumbler cup. We have them for purchase at Crafters Hideaway, or you can bring your own.

••• Please note: since epoxy resin takes approx. 8-10 hours to dry enough to handle, you will not be able to take your tumbler home with you that day. Your cup will be ready to pick up within 24-48 hours after class
